MI Green Team is pleased to announce the 2nd annual PPG Fireworks Festival to be held at the beautiful and historic Packard Proving Grounds on Wednesday July 3rd starting at 5pm, followed by the bigger and better Shelby Township DDA Independence Day Fireworks at 10pm. The family-friendly celebration will offer live entertainment, kids activities, concessions, shopping, and a ceremony honoring America. The main stage program will offer a full line up of live entertainment featuring local-favorite musical acts and dance groups, an Independence Day ceremony led by local dignitaries and the singing of the national anthem by the Shelby Star-Spangled Singer Contest winner. Kids activities will include an inflatable bouncer, maze and slide for younger kids, 25’ tower climb for older kids, and plenty of “retro games” for kids of all ages. Exhibits will include local vendors offering a wide variety of products and services for home, kids, pets, personal care, gifts, and much more. Concessions include delicious food, drink and snack offerings from the area’s leading restaurants, food trucks and caterers. Passes are available on-line at www.PGGFF.org and a limited number at the gate. A $10 pass includes on-site parking for one vehicle and admission for the ticket-holder. Additional and walk-in guests are $5 each, and include a $1 concession discount voucher. Gates open at 5pm.
